HI! I'm Pat. I am a Registered Dental Hygienist and I have worked with Dr. Curt for over 23 years. My goal is to provide the best care possible and have fun, too. I look forward to seeing my long standing patients, as well as welcoming new patients to the practice. My life has been enriched by the friendships I have established through my dental hygiene practice. I enjoy traveling and cooking.  Recently I traveled to Holland for a family reunion.  I  also enjoy spending time with my husband and teenage son away from the office. 

    

   

Hi, I'm Wendy, Dr. Baines' Certified Dental Assistant.  For 21 years I have assisted Dr. Curt Floyd, but now with the addition of Dr. Baines, I will be assisting her with all of your needs.  I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and meeting new patients.  Away from work I enjoy traveling (especially to Florida) with my husband and daughter, walking my dog Max, watching baseball and of course shopping!

      

 Hi, my name is Misty. I joined the Floyd Team in August of 1999 as the Financial Coordinator. I would be happy to help you get the most our of your dental insurance benefits and/or help to provide financing options so that you can receive the finest dental care available. Outside of the office I am very busy with my husband, four daughters and our Rottweiler, Maggie. I enjoy shopping and decorating our home. I look forward to meeting you!

   

  

Hi! My name is Kim and I am the receptionist for our office. I joined the Floyd Team in January 2001. I enjoy greeting and getting to know all of our patients. I live near Mason City with my husband and our two children. Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, traveling, and collecting Longaberger baskets and pottery.

   

 Hello, my name is Christy and I have been a dental hygienist at Drs. Floyd and Baines' office for about 5 years.  I graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1997 and have been a practicing registered hygienist for a total of ten years.  I am married, and my husband Scott and I have an adorable one year old son named Parker.  Since the birth of my son, I have been working part time on Monday and Wednesdays.  In my spare time I like to water ski and work in my flower gardens.  I truly enjoy providing preventative, therapeutic and educational services for my patients.  I promise to make your visit with me as pleasant and comfortable as possible.  I look forward to seeing you soon!

 

Hi, my name is Pam and I am one of the hygienists at Drs. Floyd and Baines' office.  I have been with the team as a part-time hygienist since July of 2003.  I live in Carlinville, IL with my  three daughters. My interests include camping, biking, reading, and spending time with my family.  Being part of the Floyd and Baines Dental Team has been a wonderful experience.  The people I work with are more like family than co-workers.  I am sure you will feel the warmth and comfort when you visit the office. Hello! My name is Miranda and I am a registered dental hygienist. I have been practicing hygiene for 5 years now and working for the Floyd and Baines team for over a year.  I work on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and thoroughly enjoy my profession.  It is such a pleasure to meet new people and help with all aspects of oral health.  I am married to my wonderful husband Jesse.  We have two cats, Cotton and Candy, and four dogs, Flossy, Gracey, Haylee and Spotty.  In my free time I enjoy shopping and working in my flower gardens.

Hi, I’m Mary Jane, Dr. Kevin’s assistant.  Years ago, I worked for Dr. Curt, alongside Wendy and Pat.  I enjoy working with them and have made new friends with the other staff since rejoining the team a few months ago.  Outside the office I enjoy various outdoor activities with my husband, children and pets.  We have two sons, a daughter, a big golden retriever named Buddy, a tabby cat we call Dolly and a fish named Red.  I am a novice shutterbug and enjoy sharing photos with friends and family.  I love to dance, and I also enjoy gardening.  I am very social, and it’s been fun getting to know new patients and reacquaint myself with Dr. Curt’s patients.

Hi.  My name is Dee.  I am the latest addition to the Floyd and Baines dental team.  I started working on October 1, 2007 with Dr. Curt, now that Wendy is chairside with Dr. Baines.  I’ve had a long and varied career in the dental field.  I taught dental assisting for 19 years at both the Capital Area Career Center and for Lincoln Land Community College.  I’ve also worked either full time or as a temp for many of the dentists in Springfield.  My family includes my husband and our son and daughter, plus a cock-a-poo named Ginger.  When I’m not working with Dr. Curt, my husband and I will be boating and/or traveling.  I have enjoyed knowing Dr. Curt over the years through Boy Scouts and our church.  I look forward to working with the team on a regular basis.  Please know that as you come in for your dental treatment, I will greet you with a smile and an encouraging word!
